October 14-16, 2011 - 60th of NYEP and 50th of 12 Myrtle Avenue

Formal Invitations went out in early August. We're targetting <$100 per person for the weekend. We have a block of rooms set aside with free parking for $139 a night at the Crowne Plaza in Albany (518-462-6611, code CXB) and encourage your to stay there or in Albany as we plan events for the greater selection of locales around the hotel. (Please respect that SAE Risk Management Policies demand that all events at the Chapter are BYOB with no kegs or other common containers)

Friday evening:

• Afternoon/evening arrivals check-in at the Crowne Plaza in Albany and the Chapter house
• Arrangements for specials at locales in Albany near the hotel
• BYOB Controlled and Chill evening - SAE cups for the weekend

Saturday:

• 9:00-12:00 - Check-in at Crowne Plaza and Chapter house
• 10:00-11:00 am - LAE Business meeting - Crowne Plaza
• 12:00-2:00 pm - Various lunch items throughout the afternoon.
• Staggered to provide fresh food and options
• $10 per person, please use RSVP card
• 1:00-4:00 pm - Campus Tours & Alumni/Active Sports
• 4:30ish pm - Sets of busses leave Troy for Crowne Plaza
• 5:00 pm - Cocktail Reception Begins at the Crowne Plaza (busses available from Troy).
• 6:00 pm - Dinner, Ceremonies (recognition awards & scholarships), Dancing
• $85 per person, includes two hours of open bar and hors d'oeuvres
• 10:00-11:00 - Banquet ends, busses making looping trips back to Troy
• 11:00 pm - Post dinner hanging out in Downtwon Albany with alumni and guests
• Night time: BYO Beer or Downtown

Sunday:

• 11:00 am - Brunch at Chapter house - $5 per person, please RSVP to ensure adequate food.
